Pro tip: BestBuy Plus/Total membership is pro-rated, so if you really want this deal but don't want to pay a full year for the membership to BestBuy, you can subscribe, buy the MacBook, and un-sub to get some refund. (Mine is not a good example because it renews next month so no refund at all, but you get the point).

I'm not extremely computer literate…what does an M4 do that an M3 can't? Can you explain like I'm 5? 😅 I'm a photographer/video editor, considering getting the m3 pro deal today.

literally only something you can answer.

not sure if this is still active.. but paypal has a 5% cashback if you buy something at best buy and use paypal to checkout. you have to activate it in paypal.. but i think the deal expired. would've been another $100 in your pocket

The biggest difference is M4 has better performance with AI. Besides that it's a marginal upgrade.

Every Apple CPU update is usually 10-15% gain in single core processing power, like 10-20% in multicore processing, and a small bump in battery life. It's all neglible in the real-world - we're talking anywhere from 1 minute to 7 minutes in speed difference of compiling codebases, doing video edits, etc from previous generation to current generation.

Go watch some videos on M3 Max vs M2 Max and you will see what I mean.
