I use this almost everyday as a diesel mechanic and i love everything about it (small footprint, brightness and magnetic base) except battery life. I get about 3hrs before it dies but i bought a few more batteries and a separate charger so solved that issue.

I haven't had good luck like the diesel mechanic that commented with 3 hours, if I can get an hour I'm happy

4000K, I've found it better for night use, or if you're under a car the extra yellow will help you identify wet spots from oil or water better. Might be more personal preference for your eyes but 4000K is your normal fluorescent light color used in shop spaces or places that use the 4' tube fluorescent bulbs.

I have this, it's a great bargain. The clip gets in the way when putting the light in the headband (you have to turn it so it slides over a solid part of the headband).

I would have said that quote sounds like the clip on the head strap, but looking at pictures in the amazon reviews, the box and some photos show an additional little metal shiny clip. Could really be a toss up but seems likely that it has one.
