Depends what you want. Try to find another brand that offers a 4-year next day on-site warranty.
Surely businesses have to order through gov/enterprise sales?

I would personally just wait for 5000 series now..
I too am currently on the "wait for Intel 15th gen and RTX 5000 series" boat. But are there any potential timelines for when such gaming desktops will be retailing?

Combining with 10% cashback and AMEX -$100 offer, can't see any other offer beating the net price. In for 1

There's new microcode 0x129 out for a lot of MBs. Problem is, if your CPU is already damaged, it's probably too late and time for RMA. I have a 13900kf and have been following the issues but if I had to buy again, right now, I don't know if I'd dive into the problem pool.

Intel says it's been fixed on production line, but who knows? They probably know more than we do, but took long enough to admit there was an issue, and they, themselves, are still figuring out best ways to fix it.

Caveat Emptor.

Honest question, thoughts on getting this setup to move on from console gaming.

Main reason is not paying for online play and being able to adjust better graphical settings vs PS5/Series Xbox.

Thanks

This is the exact system posted here back in June for around $1800-1900 after discounts/coupons/othersite discounts. I bought one and it's been great. No issues. Keep in mind the card is locked though and your expansion options are limited due to the proprietary nature. Otherwise it's a great system for a 4090 set up.

You could get a KF as well although the F was $100 cheaper. I see though that yeah this has 2TB SSD vs the other.

Alienware mobo and ram are pure trash. It's okay if you don't plan on ever upgrading but with the 4090 I think you would be good for another 5-6 years anyway at 1440p and maybe 2 for 4K. These Alienwares are HARD to upgrade.

There's a reason why you see a lot of deals of 13th and 14th gen i9s. Stay away!
