I resolved this by never microwaving the lids. I use Glad press-n-seal to cover the Pyrex, then put a lid on top of it to store in the freezer. When I pull it out to microwave it, I remove the lid and leave the press-n-seal. I also only hand wash lids. I don't put them in the dishwasher. Using these tricks my lids have lasted years.

We don't microwave these - or anything plastic - but we did put them in the dishwasher. I really don't want to hand wash anything!

Loved these initially (and bought a bunch) but ended up disappointed because the lids all disintegrated into little bits, and replacement lids are costly.

Please specify pyrex or PYREX in the title. Two very different products. Also, thanks for the post.

One thing I noticed is - if you have many Kohl's tabs open this issue may happen. Please try closing a few tabs and let us know if you are still unable to open. Or please try to open in incognito. Thanks

Not sure if it's the same issue you're having, but I've noticed that, in Google Chrome, opening some Slickdeals links results in the tab opening and closing by itself. I think there's something up with the Slickdeals ads or tracking. I have UBlock Origin and AdBlock Plus, but they don't close tabs on their own. Chrome might, but it doesn't happen to me anywhere else.

Yeah, use the lids until they crack and then use cling wrap, forever onward.
But then there is still the concern about PFAS, and microplastics etc.
What to do?, what to do?

This is a good deal. I adore Pyrex and have more than I need, but I wanted to say that I've only ever had one lid crack on me despite throwing them in the dishwasher all the time. I just try to be gentle and bend them as little as possible when I take the lids off. Don't bend them to peek in--it's either on or off. I cover them with a paper towel when I microwave. I find that works better anyway.

Don't put them in the dishwasher. That's what causes them crack.

Man.... I just need lids. Pyrex charges too much for replacements from the website!
