I've done that on a counterfeit Strat, but can't bring myself to do it on an actual nice guitar. It immediately diminishes its value by quite a bit.

Really, I don't know why a company like PRS sticks with gloss necks when the vast majority of players really do prefer satin.

Nice guitar. Too bad that neck has a gloss finish. Satin all the way.

This doesn't check many boxes for me. Neck is chonky. Pickups are mid, meh. I also prefer stain like my Holcomb has. But boy is it pretty and reasonably priced.

I agree 100%. Have you tried the scotch brite pad trick? I do that on all my guitars. Doesn't look the best, but it feels great

yeah, it was hard to do the first time, but my logic is, im keeping these things until I die so i may as well make it better for me while I can.

I'm planning to do this to a counterfeit tele I have.
I prefer the Satin feel and it will add to the "Keith" vibe.

This looks like the absolute king of the Cort Indonesian Les Paul /PRS style guitars. I have a G&L Ascari, which is a rebadged Cort M600, and it's incredible, especially for what I paid. I wouldn't hesitate if I was looking for something like this.
