I was really thinking of grabbing this but hearing of Samsungs QC issues, their warranty claims and between the mini/micro ports, I am on the fence for it. My options are being weighed alongside the 3432DWF Alienware.

Go with dell. My dell monitors have all been rock solid. I just picked up the 3332dwf as well.

I picked up open box excellent from Best Buy last week.. for $460 and it came with a $50 BB gift card which I used towards the 4 year geek squad warranty, brought the warranty cost down to $29. So less than $500 and I'm fully covered for 4 years for replacement. The geek squad warranty on monitors just gives you a full refund if you have any problems, they don't repair them.
