This is a really good deal that I would have jumped on had I not bought this about a month ago. The thing is Rock solid, I will point out that if you're thinking about buying a single 16 GB memory chip so that you can have 32 GB of ram, this motherboard is very picky on what ram it will accept. I couldn't get a single 16 GB chip to work with the existing, it kept flashing in a pattern that means you need to reseat the ram. Then I just tried that new stick by itself and it still wouldn't post so I ordered a 64 GB kit from crucial pro-line, and it worked fine.

Right, if you're tight on budget, I can understand this one, but for less than $200 more, you get 4070 super, 1000w PSU, water cooling, Alienware case.

Using mismatched pairs is never recommended.

RAM kits come in matched pairs so that the clock speed and timings are identical. You also can't use XMP unless they match.

Moreover, the smart move with this deal would be to select the 2x8GB option, because having both slots filled actually doubles the bandwidth over only using one slot.

It costs nothing extra, so you might as well choose it while you're deciding if you actually need more RAM.

Neat.. combined with the Amex plat 100$ cash back on Dell.com this could be the only deal for a 4060 Ti under $1k..

But.. May be a little dumb. Why is this called a conventional "Desktop" and not a gaming pc. ?

no option for no video card / add your own. could sell either card but likely a money loss.

I split payment. Charged $500 for Amex $100 cash back. And the rest used Bank of America Dell amerideals 5% cash back offer and used my Bank of America with almost 3% cash back credit card (total 8%) so almost $900 combined with no sale tax as I live in Oregon. Good deal.

The processor doesn't have an integrated GPU.

Why would they ever sell a desktop that has no video output?

Forget the 4060 Ti, are you guys seeing all the other options for 4070 Ti SUPER and up? Aren't they all insanely good for the price?

kinda my point, offer a integrated video CPU with no video card. limited options for scaling back costs. i play older games and dont need the latest everything. microcenter it is.
