I have something very similar. These are pretty great to keep in the car or throw around. Way better than other kids binoculars that are just absolute trash.

That's a pretty good use case for it because they are very compact and a concert is pretty easy to focus and follow what you need to.

If you are going to use them for sports or birdwatching, you want the second number to be at least 4 times the first number, e.g, 8x32 or 10x40. 8x21 doesn't work well when your subject is moving or not brightly lit.

I took a pretty similar pair to a concert two weeks ago. They worked great for this purpose. Make sure to check the venue's rules. Some places prohibit them, some have limits on length, and some don't let you have them in a case.

If the venue has bag rules, I highly recommend picking up a small clear backpack or other clear bag that conforms with the rules. It makes screening a lot easier.

It's so small just put the bag in your pocket/purse when you pass through security. Then you can just take it out and use it when you get past. Or just show them the empty bag. It's so small I've never had an issue even in venues that have a clear bag policy. But of course YMMV.

And I don't think I've ever been to a venue that bans binoculars. Especially not ones these small. Now if you try to bring in a spotting scope with a tripod…

Was still available for me at $13.47 so snagged a pair. Last time there was a great deal on binoculars like these, the wait time was over month and it never ended up shipping for me. So I'm tempering my expectations on actually getting these.
