According to Tom's GPU Benchmarks Ranking 2024 the RX 6750 XT is roughly similar to the $429 Nvidia RTX 4060 TI 16GB and the $400 AMD RX-6800 in performance https://www.tomshardware.com/revi...,4388.html
This is a solid deal. At this price point, Ray Tracing or DLSS, even with a new in-box Nvidia card (again, at this price) is really not going to boost your gaming experience to a much higher level.
This really hits a sweet spot.
This card is more at the level of a 3070, while saving you at least $50 from a used 3070 for a GPU that includes a warranty.
If $280 is your budget max it would be a struggle to do better, based on my recent research for a sub-$300 GPU.
And the 12GB of VRAM is unmatched at this price point with 3070 kind of performance.

I'd be happy if they brought back crossfire, two of these would keep up with a 4090 at less than $600.
Only in benchmarks. Crossfire or nvlink sli, if you happened to have it back in the days, has a lot of driver issues. Most just ended up running 3d mark scores and go back to single card. performance in game also doesn't scale linearly. two of those guys probably only 50% faster, if even that

Worked great for me, I ran multiple gpus up till the r9 290 series.
When implemented properly it was capable of over 90% gains.

Yes, this is widely considered the best value GPU on the market at present.

Lacks Ray Tracing, but I'm starting to think Ray Tracing is an Nvidia gimmick for the most part, definitely over hyped to differentiate Nvidia cards.

AMD cards typically have the better frame rate (rasterization) per dollar spent - that's what counts IMO.

Would it be worth the extra $50 to get this 7700 XT? Planning on pairing with a 7600X with 1440p monitor. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CFP6F859

I returned this Power Color 6750 xt as i had too many artifacts (ymmv) and occasional black screen. Now have the Sapphire 6650xt instead that is oc'd and I am very happy with my 1080p monitor. Now waiting for 8800xt and a 1440p monitor for Christmas.

Nice deal. ..... Till then, I'll keep rocking my old Sapphire RX 470 8GB. Big Grin
Haha I still had Rx 470 4Gb until last month went I picked up a Sapphire 6650 XT. Now I can play Skyrim SE with max details at 1080p. The SE version of the game was unplayable with the 470 and my old i7-8700 (non-K) rofl.
I had this Power Color 6750 gpu in this post, but returned due to black screens and had other problems like artifacts and stuttering with the XFX 6750.
Sticking with Sapphire from now on and curious to see AMD's next "flagship" to get RT at 1440p. woot

Kinda crazy that I've waited long enough for gpus to be cheap, but now my gen3 pci-e motherboard can't support cards I want.
PCI-E is backwards compatible. PCI-E 3 wont bottleneck a Gen4 card (maybe a few % is all)

Gonna need a new processor if it's from the same generation
Could you elaborate?

They never really resolved the microstutter for Xfire; great or benchmarking, but not that great for gaming

Crossfire worked well once it was patched, I remember bo2 playing very smooth.
Microstutter issues afterward were generally self-induced, often due to unstable overclocking.

In response to the other question, a processor from that generation would bottleneck this GPU.
