I haven't bought a pen in 20 years. Coincidentally, that's about when I started working for large businesses that provide pens for their employees. Weird.

I'm of the same opinion. These are my favorite gel pens, especially the micro .38mm version, but if you write on anything but paper it'll almost always smear.

I love .38 pens. I also love saving money. These .5 pens are half the price of the .38. Any good deals on .38 or do I just save some money and take these .5?

The real 'purpose/value' of these pens is to write checks. This ink (black ink) cannot be removed from a check so 'check-washers' cannot change the amount.

Thanks! Bought both the 0.7mm and 0.5mm deals. I had a check that was washed where they changed who the check was addressed too. I only caught it because Wells Fargo uploads an image of the check after it has been deposited. I used a blue ball point pen and don't want to make that mistake again. The check was stolen out of a USPS drop box.

Thanks. I've had 2 dry out but they weren't fresh in the box with the tip sealed. Probably happened due to not using frequently enough. Is it hard to remove this ink from clothes?
