If anyone's wondering i only watched season 3 of this and didn't feel like I was missing any context from the first 2 seasons so that is probably the preferred way to go about it

The first two seasons are pretty bad. The show is genuinely good in its third season, and a worthy send off to the TNG crew. So really you'd be paying $15 for one season, that's the value add.

The first two seasons are pretty bad. The show is genuinely good in its third season, and a worthy send off to the TNG crew. So really you'd be paying $15 for one season, that's the value add.

$15 for all three seasons is a deal for any trekker. It's good just to see all the characters again.

I have this on VUDU but bought it on Itunes as well for the following reason...
HDR on Itunes is better
Itunes will likely get season 3 in 4k...once paramount releases it...
Plus I paid $30 on VUDU but only $15 here...

Agreed that iTunes is the safest bet for future 4K upgrades— but I haven't seen any indication that's coming anytime soon.

Yeah I know that Picard seasons 2 and 3 were filmed with 4K camera...season 1 was filmed in 2k 1440p...so it wouldn't be a crazy lift or thought for 2 or 3 (3 is really the only one I care about) to be released in 4k since Strange New Worlds had a physical 4k release...I figured for $5 a season or $15 total I would take the gamble on owning it on two formats..

While I agree season 3 was worth watching just to see the old cast again, season 1 and 2 were so bad I would banish them, along with the entire Discovery series, so horrible they were.

Great things about the show:

- Seeing the gang all back together (s3)
- Bringing back the original theme song + First Contact theme song (s3)
- Q

Not great things:
- Annoying new crew (s1-2)
- Original crew not being totally true to their characters (e.g. plant based Worf being in touch with his feelings)
