Mines great. 13700KF, undervolted to 0.075, getting 10k+ benchmarks and staying under 60c on ultra settings. OG thermal paste intact.

Is it now ok to purchase 13/14th gen Intel desktop CPU? Did they fix the issue? Or should we avoid it?

There's no need to avoid them in the first place lol. Every system is capable of undervolting and it only takes a few minutes.

And?

Buying a power supply with more conversion wattage than you need doesn't make for a better system.

If you understand 80Plus power ratings and TDP, a 600W Gold is better than an 800W Bronze if the system only needs less than 600W.

You know for a fact that the oxidation issues is due to the voltage issue? Those are two separate issues in my mind, and I certainly don't trust Intel to "give it to me straight", as you do apparently....**shrugs**

Microcenter sales staff said he wouldn't buy these Intel CPUs even with the BIOS update. Bought Ryzen instead. Hope yours is ok.

Power supply talk makes me angry. I used to run a Corsair 550 80 Plus Gold with an i7 and titan. 550 was fine because the peak power efficiency.

What good is an 800 if it can hardly hold 500 continuous.

Never understood that unless someone was rocking a dual setup which never happens anymore.

How does this stack up to the Costco deal? (CyberPower i5-14400F / 4060 with 600W Gold and 32GB DDR + 2TB NVMe SSD)

If someone gave either you in a blind test you'd probably not notice a difference, and the 1 TB difference isn't worth much. Would just say go with the Costco version only because of their warranty

I purchased this exact system less than a week ago. Be warned, the case fans are loud. I tried using "Fan Control" to reduce the RPMs but even at their slowest they were noisy. Luckily, the same problem does not exist for the radiator fans. I ended up keeping the system, but replaced the four RGB case fans with a couple of cheap 120 mm fans I had lying around. It is sufficiently quiet now. Other than the fans, everything else seem OK. Sample size of one, so perhaps your experience will differ.
