i had some points before this started, so i ended up buying APC Back-UPS 600VA UPS [dell.com] which is "on sale" for $80 (the price it is everywhere else). not a deal but compared the rest of the overpriced stuff they have, its not bad.

you can spin the wheel once a week to try and win more points. I've done it about 6 times and never won anything

The easiest way is to just log in to the site for 19 days. You'll get 500 DRP on the 19th day. You can check your progress on the Control Center: https://na.alienwarearena.com/control-center

So it looks like the points expire on 1/15/25 which is good as it get us through the Holiday's etc. My question is should we wait to convert the points into Dell rewards until we're ready to use them? I'm not sure if once converted to Dell Rewards if that changes the expiration date?
i just converted, same 1/15 expiration date

How exactly does this work? Just make sure to visit the site when you're logged in for 19 days straight? I did it for 7 days so far and it says I have 7 ARP.

I wouldn't spend points to spin the wheel either. I was talking about the once weekly free spin they give you.

there is no reason to convert now. If you wait until january, the expiration of the dell dollars is extended relative to when they were issued. Also, if you find something you want to buy before then, you don't even need to convert to dell dollars. It will just apply in 1000 point increments.

Did you click on the Intel icon in the upper right and claim the points each day?

On alienwarearena, click on the settings 'gear' on the top right and pick control center. Then scroll down. You should see rewards you get as you login each day. The 'today's reward' followed by a '7 day streak', and finally the '28 day daily login'. Not completely sure, but think the streaks reset each month. So if you want the more valuable rewards mostly near the end, you need to login daily. BTW, if you really did check in each day, you should see a good bit more than 7 arp total, as they increase as the days progress, so should be up to 21 arp total after 7 days (from both 7 day streak and 28 day streaks.) Of course the more valuable DRP is what we're after, which only is offered once, after 19 days logging in this month.

Oh, you also earn ARP for time spent on the site each day. I try and remember to just leave a AA tab open for an hour or so while I'm doing other things and earn an extra 8 ARP each day... though I think the normal max is less without their somewhat silly 'artifacts' bonuses. You can 'Equip' one or two artifacts and gives you effects like increasing the total ARP you can earn from time spent on the site. You can get artifacts and fragments to upgrade those artifacts on the AA Rewards marketplace page, (or through daily streaks or special events), though unless you're planning on sticking with AA rewards for a while, it's probably not worth messing with. I've been doing it for a few years and with occasional special bonuses and events have earned and redeemed maybe $300+ or so from Dell and currently have $300 in points I need to spend... just can't find anything I need.

You can also earn DRP (Dell Reward Points) sometimes by playing their games available Monday - Thursday without missing a day (and finishing the games.) If you complete play all four days you get a bonus game on Thursday that can reward Alienware reward points or DRP (500, 1000, 2000). If you meet the minimum requirement (varies) then maybe 1/3 of the time it's DRP. The rest is just a ARP bonus.

Correct, just visit the site while logged in. I don't think it even has to be consecutive days for the 28-day rewards.

ARP is something different, but it can be exchanged for DRP at a rate of 1200 ARP = 2000 DRP, and 1700 ARP = 3000 DRP. It takes a bit more effort to gain ARP at a steady rate, but I put in maybe 5 minutes of actual effort per day and tend to get 1000 ARP a month.

Thanks to both of you, repped both.

Turns out I am on Day 10 and see my progress to 500 points on Day 19. Ended up getting 4800 points so really was hoping to hit over 5000 in order to cash out at $50 instead of $40 and 800 points leftover. But it looks like you don't even need to cash out based on a previous post, they just deduct the points in increments of 100 accordingly.
