Any idea why this one has WiFi5? I haven't seen a motherboard without WiFi6 or 6e for a long time.

Costco has never sold the latest and greatest for computer I recall. The Wifi 5 is AC, about $30 or less to replace with 6E/AX M.2 adapter.

There have been a lot more than 3, and this was the first one I noticed that had WiFi5. Hence the question. Not sure why it was worth a downvote, but to each their own I guess. I won't bother asking questions any longer as it seems to make people mad.

4070 super >> current 4070 deals @ $1500
i7 << i9 some currently $1500 deals

2 year costco warranty +++++

anyone agree? looking to buy a pc for my son for start of school- can build 7800x3d and 4070super but that combo alone is close to 1200

I got this one back in April. No issues for me as of yet.
Came from a AMD R5 2600 - so the intel is a huge upgrade overall performance wise. I haven't had any issues with temps etc. My 4070S was a Zotac - seems to perform well.
Upgraded my monitor a few weeks ago to 1440p 180hz (costco msi deal) - and bang what a difference.
I had to pull the trigger when this was posted last time - though it is a little cheaper now I have no regrets. Repurposed my last rig for my son for 1080p 144hz and he is happy. YMMV as mine has been a pleasant upgrade.

Agreed. Solid specs for the price. This is for people who doesn't like the hassle of building a PC. Just plug and play, as OP alluded to.

For a gaming PC I wouldn't care too much about that, if youre using internet then wifi5 is fine and if gaming you should have a wired connection anyways for your (and other players) sanity. Although a wifi workaround that works almost as well as wired is if you plug directly in to a mesh router, you get basically no skipping
