Stupid question: Will these charge USB C laptops that have the "brick" in the cord. I get sick of packing that big charger around.

Probably need at least a 65W charger. Something like this https://www.amazon.com/Charger-An...08T5QN2TR/ and a USB-C cable for 100W to be safe.

No stupid sir, i had the same doubts some time ago, for laptops you may need 65w at least same for a mac and steamdeck for example.
These are merely for phones.

To charge slowly while they are powered off they will work. But you need 30-65W for low powered laptops and 100-200W for high powered laptops to run them while powered on. If you try to use them while powered on, the battery will just drain a tiny bit more slowly.
