Though it's quite likely this is a mismatch, the reasoning you gave can easily be the opposite and still be factual.
When you go to the cart itself it then shows a count of 6 to the far left but to the far right it shows the original price is $9.97 and you save only $3.
So they screwed up externally but the billing information is sadly correct. Good luck ordering this and then trying to fight to get a count of 6. I am not going to bother.
Btw, the other day Walmart had screwed up the pricing on this exact model too, just in a different way.
