The XG27AQ, which is an older version of the one I posted, outscores this ProArt monitor for content creation on rtings. 8.2 to 7.8.

Reading both reviews it's hard to see the advantage of the ProArt, other than marketing.

Pretty sure I paid over $400 for mine when it first came out. Have hooked up to my Mac mini and use it mainly for photo editing. Love the color accuracy on these

They're not geared towards the same people. This is for graphic designers, photographers, videographers and digital artist. Your recommended monitor is gaming oriented.

There's just not much advantage in these over something like the XG27ACS, which is also factory calibrated and is 180Hz and just as good build quality.

The low refresh rate is probably the only disappointing aspect of this monitor I noticed.

Considering anyone who does content creation never exceeds 60hz for anything it's not needed. I have a 1080p 24" version of this monitor and it's fantastic to have a rec709 color graded monitor for video editing, it's horrible trying to do color correction on typical gaming monitors because the colors don't look right.

Its also a 16:10 aspect ratio which is amazing for having more height for working on timelines, something every 16:9 gaming monitor doesn't have.

If that's important the newer ProArt PA27CGV is 144Hz and 75W USB-C power delivery. It's usually around $300.

Don't think so, it's on sale for $350, lowest was $336 I think. It's a $400 monitor so I doubt it was $220.

I think yours is 1200p if it's 16:10 (don't think ProArt ever made a 1080p 24".

I have the same monitor, and while it's great, my 27" 1440p VG27AQ is just as usable cause it has the same vertical height as the 16:10 24".

I would love to have a 16:10 27" monitor but they don't seem to make those.

1200p yes 👍 Right now there's a lot of talk about HDR but the problem with it there's no universal HDR standard. And it depends if your recording HDR which standard it is your working with, so I've elected to never touch HDR and I pretend it doesn't exist lol. Because when your doing color correction, every HDR standard looks different. And that's assuming your monitor is calibrated for that specific HDR. So to me HDR is a gimmick and it's nice to have access to a rec.709 monitor

Maybe on an OLED HDR is good but every time I see it it just seems too bright and isn't pleasant to look at.

Not a "pro" level graphic monitor, doesn't have hardware LUT or wide gamut. Not a new model either (from 2020)
