This game is a 6/10 for me. At first, I thought it was pretty cool, walking through the city and doing side missions that lasted longer than I expected, but then it eventually devolved into what felt like a never ending wave shooter. The combat is super basic. I mean, it's Robocop, so I didn't expect to be doing all kinds of crazy moves or anything, but Robocop is just a limited character for a videogame. The game is also on the janky side. I beat it, just because I had paid for it, but I had lost interest quite a bit before the end. I've noticed the majority of people who call this game "great" announce themselves as fans of the movies. I could take or leave the movies.

Come on. If you have issues with cdkeys just contact them and they make it right. They accept PayPal as well. Steam keys are region locked, so not sure where people are getting their information.

Game is great. Played on ps5, but it is worth the $20. Heard the same guys developed Terminator Resistance and that one has had some positive feedback, so will be getting that one next.

CDkeys is grey market and your key may be revoked at any time. I used to get my keys exclusively from there. I've bought about 20 games from there and had a couple keys revoked by steam about a year after buying. Also CDkeys pockets all the money instead of paying the devs and publishers. I'd rather have the security of legit keys and continued game development for another couple bucks.

Great game for a while. It ended up crashing my steam deck at the same.place several times in a row so I moved on. May come back to it.

How does cdkeys aquire their keys (without paying the publisher or dev)?

Publishers allow poorer countries to buy their games for next to nothing so they can also enjoy video games too. These grey market sites will buy the keys for next to nothing in a poor region and then resell them in rich markets, while pocketing the entire difference in price. Devs and publishers get next to nothing in these sales and it discourages them from making new video games. If everyone bought games from grey market sites like CDkeys, then new games probably wouldn't be made anymore.

Thank you for the response, and I have addition questions:
1. I thought steam keys were region locked (I know they can be: Steam: "Region restrictions on CD Keys vary by each individual publisher. There is no standard or universal restriction placed on retail games.") If they aren't region locked, it's a failure on the part of the publisher
2. How did you get this info on their purchase process? (I have tried to find it many times, but have never successful, I just know they dont openly use third parties like g2a, kinguin, and eneba do, but that's obvious just by looking at product pages on the stores)

Agreed. Reviews made it look so good so I bought it for $40 on PS5 and it's just like you said. Really unoptimized with lots of tech issues and the gameplay is just super basic shooting endlessly. Upgrades and weapons do nothing to make the game more interesting and side missions and things are boring.

I was letdown by the hype for the game and think this is more suited for picking up for $10 or less, or on PS Plus if you're a PS gamer.

Edit: I'll also add that I love the original movie and think it still holds up, but like you said, it's very much a fan service kind of game.

No prob, most of what I gather is from my co-worker, who sells his games on steam and has to deal with pirated copies as well as grey market resellers, first hand. A couple good articles with information on how some regions such as the EU, do not allow region locking keys, even at publisher request:
https://venturebeat.com/business/...n-locking/
Regional pricing differences:

Grey market reselling and sometimes using stolen credit cards:

Felt that way about demo so I can wait til $10 or lower and I am a fan of the movies.

I'm surprised that SD features "deals" from CDKeys.
