I was letdown by the hype for the game and think this is more suited for picking up for $10 or less, or on PS Plus if you're a PS gamer.
Edit: I'll also add that I love the original movie and think it still holds up, but like you said, it's very much a fan service kind of game.
I have answered my own question, I went through all the emails of games I purchased through cdkeys over the years, and there was 8 total. All but 7 are still in my steam games list, so 1 did get removed and there is no notification from steam saying they removed it but they did. It was Star Wars Squadrons, I had purchased it on 8-10-2021 for $0.79 from cdkeys and I always redeem my codes right away. I tried entering the code right now and it says code is invalid, I then tried a code from another cdkeys game already installed and it says the code is already redeemed to the current account. I then tried entering a random code I know was redeemed from someone else that got it from another steam post and that code says its redeemed to another account. So my Star Wars Squadrons code has been made invalid.
Something to think about now when considering ordering from cdkeys, I didn't think that would happen since I never had a problem before, on the positive side of things I do have Star Wars Squadrons on my epic games account from a free giveaway.
I feel like I got my $20 worth, but it has zero replay value for me. Only my love of Robocop made me play it as long as I did. YMMV

It's fun and interesting but by no means a AAA game.

I have bought many games from then also that all still work. Are you really telling over a $0.79 game? Maybe it's delisted and something happened. I'm sure if you talk to them, they'll refund you. But again.... it's only $0.79.

Just something to consider now when buying something from them in the future, I probably would still buy something in the 5 to 10.00 range but wouldn't go higher than that.
I'm really trying to make my game purchases from GOG and not Steam, Steam forcing windows 10 to view and launch games using their client software had already made me look elsewhere for game purchases, that being GOG.
I decided to search slickdeals old posts and found out I was wrong about Steam removing the game, https://slickdeals.net/f/15315706-star-wars-squadrons-pc-digital-download-0-80-w-2-sd-cashback?page=6
This was a origin key from cdkeys, others in that post had their games removed too, so Steam wasn't the one that removed the game, it was Origin. That being said, it was back in 2021 and if no one else has had anything disappear since then maybe cdkeys is still ok to buy from. If not for the poster that mentioned cdkeys having issues with games being revoked later on I never would have known about this squadrons game that I bought years back, I don't use Origin anymore.

I have 19 prior game purchases showing on my CDKeys account, I never had anything revoked. Last purchase was in 2022 though, so many other sites have popped up with similar or better deals that I haven't used CDK in a while. I do always try to check Humble, Fanatical, Green Man first.
