Actually prefer a pre-mix measuring cup (which also has straight volume on it, as well as ratio calculations).

Here's an example:

I've found it easier to have this sitting flat on a counter, filling it to the correct level, and then using a traditional funnel.

YMMV of course, just providing an alternative.

These suck for oil, waiting for it to flow through that valve is an all day process. You'll also be holding it the entire time you're waiting.
