Just spotted REI gift cards in the Capital One rewards portal for 25% off. So $25 gift card is only 1,875 points. Looks like it goes up to $200, and might be able to do multiple cards as I still see the offer after ordering 1. Seems like a good deal since usually capital one conversion points aren't often worth it to do more than the 1:1 travel reimbursement. But 25% off REI gift card seems worth it to stash for the next REI sale.
I have a Capital One Venture X. Comments below suggest it's 25% for X and 10% for just Venture.

They are mailing 90K offer to certain individuals. My SO just got one in mail. VR has a pretty good deal right now with 75K points and 250 travel credit.

Just buy them with a credit card first and then when the gift cards come in do a return and purchase with the gift cards
