If you've played BG3 and not these - you're missing out. You don't need to play them in any order and 2 has a lot of QoL improvements.

Great stories and great game play if you're kinda sorta on the fence.

If played single player it's up there. Couch Co-op it's quite literally #1 for me.

DoS is amazing, it doesn't get a lot of love cause it's very story heavy in the first quarter of the game. Once you get past that it really picks up and shines.

Original Sin 2 is a must for anyone who enjoyed Baldurs Gate 3. The first one is also good, but a little jank by comparison. Still, both are great if you have anyone to play co-op with. The original Divine Divinity plays a bit like Diablo, but with much more depth. There are mods that make it friendlier with modern machines as well.

The first DoS was decent but I got bored, too much lore. But BG3 may be the best RPG I've ever played. Is DoS2 more like the original? Is it a step backwards from BG3?

I haven't played DoS, but DoS2 seems very similar to BG3 to me. I'd rank it the same or higher than BG3. However, I don't really play these games for the lore or story so not sure if the lore would bore you again.
