My last 28" from IT was 4.85 lbs soft side and has lasted 12 years with regular international travel. I would never buy an 11lb suitcase, you can't hardly fill it up

Where does it say there is a 10 year warranty? The CalPak website shows Warranties of 1, 2 and 5 years - https://www.calpaktravel.com/page...-guarantee.

This is a great deal for this many pieces with solid polycarbonate shells, but I wish they had some good colors besides black and drab green.

I would also recommend Olympia if you can find it with solid polycarbonate shell. I'm still rocking one I bought over 10 years ago before all the prices went up. It's been all over the country, on a bunch of planes, on a bunch of cruise ships, and several foreign countries, and it has never broken and still looks relatively good. It seems to get a new scratch every time it goes through an airport, but it's not very noticeable.

I've returned stuff that never been opened bc I changed my mind after 2 weeks. The employees kept asking me questions. Yo I changed my mind! I bought an Apple laptop from them and never opened it until a month later. Found out the laptop doesn't work. They said it's over a month so no return. Took it to Apple and Apple said they only have 14 days return period and wanted to charged me $600 to fix the laptop after confirming I never ran the software or got the chance to use the laptop. Maybe ur Costco is nicer who knows

Well to be fair I went to an out of town Costco and saw a lady returning watermelon with only the shell left. She cut it up and put the green shell in ziploc bag and returned it 😂 maybe that store is nice but I didn't need to return anything at that time 😂

If that's how they treat you then you should sue because that's against their return policy.

So my laptop is just sitting there. The lady CS who denied my return probably doesn't work there anymore. You think I can take back the laptop now? It's been a couple years and the laptop is collecting dust or the box is bc I still have all the original parts lol

For apple products they do tell you to take to apple store usually after 90 days but you can try. It's hard to prove what that lady did now though.

I just received my order today in Pistachio color. Unfortunately it's such an ugly color. It's much darker, odd shade of green than what you see online. Go with black if you want it.

I will be returning, not because of the color though. The walls are very thin and feels VERY flimsy. I have an older Ricardo set that feels twice as thick and is far more rigid. The zippers are nice, internal material is good, I like that both sides have internal zippered walls. Rolls nice, wheels are better than the Ricardo ones, and a little smaller and not as good as the Japanese ones used on Monos luggage.

Dude, all branded checked bag is around 10+ lbs. I've never seen any 24"+ checked bag which weight is 5lbs.
Samsonite C-Lite is 6.3lbs and good quality. Probably the only Samsonite worth buying in my opinion. I own 2 of them and like them more than my Tumi and Victorinox for checked luggage.

I've bought this set directly from Calpak last year. I also have an older Calpak my wife won on a giveaway. The one we won is an amazingly built luggage. The one I bought (exactly like this Costco set) is not built to the same quality. So you get what you pay for here. The plastic is flimsy, my hand gets pinched on the handles if you're not careful. Its not bad, but its not the normal Calpak quality.

That is 500$ plus a bag, it's a nice model which is ultra Ligjt and costs $$$$$.

Most delsey samsonite and American tourister etc luggage that are ABS or ABS PC blend or PC are usually around 9.5 to 11 Lbs.

Or we can go soft side where also go from 6 to 9 lbs..

Also I checked the C lite exceeds 64 linear inches granted most airlines may not bother but

it's not like an inch it's 3 inches more QA I think says got to be 62 linear inches..but still more than 64 inches.

I think 500 a bag is too damn much.

on sale you get delsey and samsonite omni and other PC shells for less than 500 why overpay?
