I ordered one. Used the $10 cert mentioned in the other thread.

For what it's worth, it looks like this fulfilled the offer for a $50 reward for spending $250 on small kitchen appliances, if you have that in your My Best Buy offers.

Earliest delivery was 3 weeks out for me (KC area). Added the 4 year plan after reading through some reviews.

Double tap only allows for 1/6 bbl kegs. Depending on what beer(s) you drink, you may only want a single tap since that'll allow you to use a 1/2 bbl

Yup. The availability depends on your location. You may find a homebrew store that sells both as well. However, call your local beer distributors and inquire about "dock sales to private parties." Some distributors offer this service, while others do not. Additionally, depending on your state's regulations, you may need to complete special paperwork or will be prohibited from certain items. For instance, in Idaho, purchasing kegs of wine or cider requires a state license (so basically you need to be a bar or resturant).

Total Wine in my area stocks kegs all the time, many gas stations will order them for you, near most colleges there are plenty of places that specialize in beverages. For C02 you can get refills at industrial gas places (think welding supply but they also supply medical gas), restaurant supply, and in my area there are a few stores that specialize home brewing beer and wine who also refill CO2 and nitrogen tanks.

I've heard of people getting CO2 at paintball places and Dicks sporting goods but I never wanted to risk those are for obvious reasons those are not food grade nor clean.

I'd like to convert to nitro and put some Guiness in here. Just don't know if I'd drink a keg of it. It is football season though. . . .

I have a kegco unit. I started drinking more beer than I ever thought I would. I have a 20lb CO2 and it's lasted me over a year. I get the 1/6 kegs from total wine, maybe a keg a month or two kegs a month.
