I bought this for my 2015 MINI Cooper. Seems like this is new vendor that is trying to get sales, thus the heavy discount. When AGM batteries are minimum $180 to $260, I thought this was a great deal. I should be getting it within a couple days since it is not Prime shipped. There is a 3 year warranty that I've requested more info about.

Very good deal for an AGM battery in the 94R size. Interesting "level top"design – I wonder if that will interfere with the large cable end on some modern cars. FYI – looks to be sold under the Weize brand name as well. $150 for the same battery with good reviews on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CBQ4GR6T

The Group 47/H5 still has the $50 off for a final price of $99.99 shipped. Steal of a deal, and I'm in agreement with sloepoke that these are relabeled Weizes as they are from the same manufacturer. I have a Weize Group 48 in my daily driver Suburban and it's going strong at 18 months in service.

These also make great starting batteries in boats, etc. No acid spills and maintenance free.

Gotta love these savings compared to the competition.

Quick question, I'm considering going AGM in my 2018 Tacoma, it takes a 24F.
I'm reading that not all alternators produce enough voltage to keep these fully charged.
Is this anything you've heard of or encountered?

The 48/H6 and 94R/H7 are similar in size to the 24F, but are slightly shorter and have recessed terminals that you'll need to account for as they may affect battery cable orientation. I did a quick look and your '18 Tacoma appears to have a fixed charge voltage of 13.85V. In my opinion this isn't optimum for an AGM which does best at 14.4-14.8V float voltage to achieve 100% charge. I don't foresee that you'd have immediate problems with an AGM per se, but it will likely always stay at 80-90% charge or so, which will cause substantial reduction in life expectancy.

You may want to connect a voltmeter to your battery with the truck running and all accessories turned off (headlights, blower fan, etc.) and see what your alternator outputs at idle and then at 2000 RPM. If it exceeds 14 volts for any length of time an AGM will probably do OK. Below 14V is definitely marginal for AGM use. Also, it looks like some tunes will allow you to adjust the alternator charge voltage, which to me would be the preferred accommodation for an AGM upgrade. There are likely other easy mods that can raise your charge voltage to the 14.4+ volts that AGMs thrive at.

These new cars usually needs to have a reset on battery, otherwise the car thinks the battery is old, and the charge capacity is less, so the alternator will charge less. You should contact your dealer, and see if that apply to you
