Life expectancy depends on battery care. Charge it to 80% max and don't run it below 20%. Keep it around 50% when in storage. I have this scooter (bought new from Costco over a year ago) and my range is still the same.

its pretty difficult to replace from the air tires to solid, a lot of cursing and experimenting.
I had to replace a tire on my scooter, I didn't find it too difficult (however, I've been mountain biking for years and can replace tires in my sleep). Just get good tire levers.
The hardest part was taking the motorized wheel off (actually, it wasn't too hard after I watched a video; but I didn't watch the video until I've wasted like an hour on it. LOL )
But harder to return on eBay?
