Bought this 6 weeks ago at $210 and oc'd. Great for 1080p with high/max details, but on 1440p is only good for low/medium details. Beats the 4060 in many titles in 1080p, but forget ray tracing unless 30 fps is your thing.

Great price for a solid 1080p card, it is more or less as powerful as an rx 7600. The 6600 floats around this price, the 6650xt outperforms the 6600 by roughly 30%. If you desperately need a 1080p card, you wont find a much better deal than this (not counting used cards).

No brainer... get an AMD g series cpu/apu and not this overpriced obsolete garbage...
This discrete card will beat an APU every time. APUs have come a LONG way, but discrete is still king. This isn't an Intel A380. This is an actually decent 1080/1440p gaming card.

I've have this for nearly two years. Runs decent for new stuff, but it's great for indie games and older titles. Had no problems getting 4K60fps on ghost of a tale with an i7-10700.

If you're taking about those APU AMD flagship alike the 780m, which plays like an gtx1650 in Nvidia or rx580 in Amd, it's also an no brainer the performance gap between an rx580 vs a rx6650xt. Didn't really understood your point there. About obsolete and $200 being overpriced.

Would this be much of an upgrade to my rx580 nitro?

I would say it's a considerable upgrade. But could also depend on your monitor or tv. If you're on a 60hz, you likely wouldn't see an improvement except for placebo. I mean no offense by stating this, but I've seen a lot of people comment how smooth 120fps plus is while they're playing on a 60hz monitor.

This is about double the performance. https://www.tomshardware.com/revi...,4388.html

Very solid 1080p card. Built my son a computer with a 6600xt and it holds up very well.

I just bought the XFX version of this card for $219 a few weeks ago. The Sapphire one was $205.00. Picked the XFX card because I liked the way it looked. My gaming pc has a 4070 in it, so I was pleasantly surprised at how well the 6650XT performs for a $200 card. I am getting over 100fps in Wreckfest at 1440 on a Dell monitor with 164Hz refresh rate. Plus, the AMD drivers don't suck so far. I bet all the bells and whistles could be turned on if running in 1080. No complaints from me. The 6650xt really packs a punch. Good bang for the buck.
