The full description lists these as XM4, not XM5. I received a "user modified description" while checking out. Cancelled and messaged seller.

Bought xm5 from secondipity about a year ago. I still use them multiple times a day every day. Never had an issue.

Side note... don't try to clean the tips with rubbing alcohol. They will melt.

This comes with a two-year warranty from Allstate, which I had excellent experience. I bought the wf-1000xm4 from the same seller. One earbud battery went bad after a year and they replaced the battery. After another few months the other one battery died. They refunded the money.

Ebay seller secondipity has refurbished sony wf-1000xm5 for $114.99. Never seen it myself under $120.

There was recently a deal a couple days on this but was hesitant as it didn't have the ebay 2 year warranty.

ordered this this exact listing a few weeks ago and it was the xm5

great buds, excellent sound, good anc, but replacing the ear tips in the long run is a bit worrying

you need to find some that fit well, don't drastically change the anc/sq, and that have the mesh or net

I was on the page of white earbuds, and that's why I didn't see it.

Actually, was just looking at that too. What's going on is that on the Ebay page for the silver one's it states XM5 throughout the page also priced at $114.99, but on the page for the black ones, under "model" it does say XM4, not XM5. I'm guessing it's a mistake on their end, but maybe they'll honor it anyway. I've never purchased from Secondipity so I don't really know how they respond to this sort of issue.

under item specifics and about this product it does show the xm4s, everywhere else 5s

I see. It's in product details. The gray colored has the xm5. It looks like a typo, everywhere else are xm5.

I really feel weird about refurb earbuds, but after a sad disappointment with Bose QC Ultra I got the other day, I'm giving this a shot. Got the silver just to make sure they don't send me an XM4. Let's see how this goes. 🤞

For sleep I would recommend hearos ultra soft or macks ultra soft earplugs

They don't block as much noise as these earbuds but they're soft

I tried these and could not get a proper fit. even on a static bike after like 5mins they would unseal and slowly drift out. the top-heavy design is not optimal. but true enough, I have problems with most earbuds

Got mine and they're not good. Sound, sounds distorted no matter what we setting I use. Almost like they're defective

Had to return these as one of the earbuds (I think it was the right one?) would make a popping moment any time I moved my jaw/head. Eating, drinking, talking, walking - all caused this popping sound that was incredibly annoying.
TBH though I've had some pretty poor luck with secondipity. My headphones from them have always been excellent (both the XM4's and XM2's). My earbuds have always been awful. WF-1000XM1's I went through three of because of one of them kept dying. The linkbuds arrived with one of the speakers blown and popping when you turn the volume above 50%. The XM5 earbuds with one of them popping as mentioned.
