Well worth the money and would recommend buying two if you are in the market. Makes cutting flooring and ceiling materials on a tablesaw much safer.

Looks like a direct Chinese copy. I have the original and would recommend it. Can't comment on this ones quality because I've never tried it but in theory it would perform the same. For what it's worth I've dropped mine many times and it hasn't broke.

The one in this deal is made by the original company that designed it. It's high quality and won't shatter if accidentally hit with the blade.

The Amazon special is a Chinese knock-off made out of who-knows-what.

If you're interested in a safety device like this and want to be cheap about it, just make your own instead. I have an original grrripper and made other similar push blocks by putting a handle on a caulk coated chunk of 2x4.

I am all for saving money and using knock offs/generics/whatever.

But the one place I never cheap out is anything related to safety. That knock off one is probably fine, but $12 is nothing if it means better materials or construction that could mean the difference between a serious injury or not.

I've had two of these for close to 20 years or so. I use them fairly regularly for cutting narrow strips from the fence side of the blade or ripping narrow pieces generally. I use a home made oak push block for most rips, but there are plenty of times I reach for one of these when kick back is more concern than normal. If I didn't have 2, I would buy another one.

I have this one and it works well- I was looking at the Grrripper one but the cost was high at the time - might have bought it Instead at $40 but concept is the same and some people even said they even preferred it.

I have both original and zebekk and using it for the past year. They are both well built from what I can tell, feel sturdy and solid when using. But at this price, would've both original instead so they both are same make.
