I bought a 39 cent hook from Home Depot and it works like a charm. Never even see the hook as it's mounted underside of the desktop.

This is a rebranded Neetto HS906, which is $15 on Amazon. I purchased the Neetto one about two years ago for $13, so this is not a bad deal. The stand works well clamped to the front edge of my desk.

Ok, so you have to spend $40 more, but there is a member offer at the minute for a $25 certificate when you send $50 on Best Buy brand products which I think includes Insignia and rocketfish.

I have a couple under the desk, I bought those in ebay (4.99 to put 2) and sticked to the desk with 3m tape

i found a rusty nail on the ground and hammered it to the underside of my desk then bent it into a hook shape.

works great and only cost me a tetanus shot

There are a ton of hooks on amazon with great reviews that can do the same job. I have one of these and hot glued it to the side of my desk, works fine and its out of the way and super minimalistic which I like.
