I have the 650 cfm version with the same battery but it only lasts around 30 min on high. I do have 2 batteries though which helps.

I have multiple batteries systems. It's not too bad if you know what products you like for projects. Milwaukee is my go to for most things and automotive. Ego is for lawn care stuff. Ryobi is for cheaper tools that is a lower cost alternative to Milwaukee.

I just did a price match from lowes.com chat for in store pickup since Amazon looks like it's on backorder and won't deliver for 2-3 weeks.
Took 30+ minutes with the rep, not sure if it was worth my time

I had to submit my payment info in a "secure form" in the chat, hopefully that directly processed the payment and didn't give it to the rep.

It's easier to get on chat, place the order and then have them price match it as soon as you place it.

If the string trimmer were to go on sale I'd consider getting this for the extra battery. What I need is a string trimmer. Was considering the Milwaukee Fuel but I've heard it overheats. It's $199 the last month.

That's exactly what I just did. I bought this for the battery and figured I'd replace a 10 year old Greenworks blower. I then bought the Ego Power+ IQ AutoFeed Tool Only on Amazon for $199.

yeah, but that makes the trimmer kind of a ripoff when it doesn't come with a 300$ battery, for 40-50$ more... gota wait for the trimmer with 4Ah battery to drop again, other wise i just won't feel good about myself (it's a sickness for sure LMAO

You also messed up, because, like a previous poster said, you got a 2.5 ah battery on the Greenworks, when Ego's battery is twice as big.

It's really Volts * Amp-hours. (yes, it's a bit more nuanced than that)
