You need to do the hack - go to the battery linked above, under the image you'll see an option to get a free tool. Add the impact as your free option. (Can also do this from the impact). Set pickup for two different stores and place your order. Grab the tool you want and let the other tool pickup expire.

Probably one of the best impact for home owner DIYer.

A little underpower for the pros. I would recommend the M18 Fuel version of it

This isn't a good choice if you don't already have an m12 battery. There are combo deals out there that come with batteries for like 90 bucks.

How good of a price is this without the batteries? I already have m12 batteries so I don't really need them. This seem like a good price but I don't pay attention to these deals enough to get a good idea.

I have a few of these, they get used in a professional construction environment every day by guys who don't care about them. They have held up well to the abuse the guys give them, I supply the m12 vs the m18 because it's a smaller and lighter package for use overhead or in awkward positions.

For any diy or professional I would recommend this impact. Now if you are driving large lags all day or in the automotive world I would recommend a different tool but for the general use this is a great tool.

This is the same impact that comes in the m12 fuel kit that is regularly "on sale" for less than $140. If you don't have any tools I think that is a great affordable way to get into the m12 line.

Not hackable anymore. I tried with a Dewalt combo. when I tried to return the battery I was Denied. I had to return either everything or keep it. When ordering online too it doesn't give the option to have it delivered to different stores just everything shipped to the store or home.

It has trouble breaking lug nuts free because it was never designed for that purpose. This is an impact driver. For lugs, you'll want an impact wrench.

I was just able to choose two different stores to do pickup. I will pick up the impact and let the battery pickup window expire.
