I bought the yellow one for $6.95 in February. It was worth the additional money to me because it has the hanging loop that I use. If it's going in a drawer, that doest matter. It is pretty convenient compared to the cone over glass juicers, but it still releases some seeds occasionally. Also to fully juice, you have to squeeze it one way, then flip the fruit, then squeeze again or it will leave a bunch of juice unextracted.

Because citrus eats away at metal and makes them leech heavy metals. You want it enamel covered. When it chips it's time to replace

I looked at the product page, some reviews and videos and still can't figure out if the difference between colors is just the color or also the size. Annoyingly, I didn't see a measurement for the bowl diameter. Already have a squeezer that works OK for limes but could be larger to accommodate the average lemon.

The silver one is bigger than the green one, it's $1 more. Feels pretty solid

Ha, love that they named the company as "Imusa USA" and its made in China.

That aside, I never understood why these fruit squeezers are painted. Why wouldnt you want an all stainless one, preferably made in the US?! There's all kinds of reviews mentioning that the paint chips on all of these painted types.

The yellow one has a $1.20 coupon making it $4.79. It's the bigger size for lemons.

There's product dimensions listed right under the color selection. Different colors are different sizes.

Ah, welp, that would be a good reason! Thank you explaining.

If it's made of aluminum like this one is, then yes, you want it enameled. But if it's stainless steel, it's non-reactive, so this is far less of an issue. Just rinse or wash your stainless steel right after using it and it will last forever.

Stainless steel is not non-reactive. That's why when you put whiskey in a stainless steel flask it turns blue. Stainless steel can corrode at extreme pH and citrus is a lot more acidic than whiskey.
That being said, I "upgraded" from one of these Chef'n FreshForce and actually found that these cheapo citrus juicers get a lot more juice out of citrus. The FreshForce lemon in particular is bad at squeezing limes because limes are smaller and I think Chef'n leaves a pretty huge gap on the lemon squeezer so that bitter oils from the pith aren't released. The expensive citrus juicers are more ergonomic but actually do a worse job of squeezing out all the juice.

Is this paint safe for food contact? I'm sure the manufacturer will say so but anyone know for certain?

I juice a lot of limes, lemons and oranges for mixology purposes. I've found that the press-style is better than these clam-shell types. More juice, easier to clean, one size fits all.

An example (without link) - Dreamfarm 11" Original Orange Fluicer Easy-Squeeze Ergonomic Manual Fold-Flat

And it's easier to store

Well if it's from China I'd be extra cautious
