The powerstacks are definitely more powerful and are worth it in my opinion but it also depends what you are doing. And thats not considering the claim that they have 2x recharge cycles which they might but they might not. This is a price point i feel like is the time if you want both capacity batteries. For reference i had an install a bit back installing 36 8' x 8' overhead doors for a storage place. Everything was concrete. Jambs and ceiling. Using my small atomic rotary hammer instead of my bigger 1 since were only doing 1/4" (5/16" tapcon) screw anchors for small doors. 18 anchors per door. The normal 5ah lasted 2 1/2 doors. The 5ah powerstack completed 4 doors. Same capacity battery but faster holes drilled equaled more work done per battery. Havent looked back. Everything i got now is powerstack, powerpack, or flexvolt. But i use this stuff professionally doing commercial work.

What is the ideal $/Ah on these Powerstacks?

I uses $10/Ah on the regular 20Vs and $12/Ah on the Flexvolts.

The going rate to get people excited for a powerstack seems to be $15/Ah.
For reference, last month HD had some 5Ah powerstacks on clearance for $75 and people were scrambling to pick them up.
This deal is just under the $15/Ah mark. Personally, i think it's still a bit over priced, but I'm ok with being patient for an amazing deal.

That deal was exactly at the $15/ah, not under.

I was searching the website and couldn't find it (maybe because I already have an account), but when I logged out of my account and tried ingognito mode, a popup appeared for me to sign up. I signed up using a different email and got the code sent to that email. YMMV
