I have this and I like it. I'm not a gym buff but it helps me get in a quick workout in my garage. I think I paid $500 too.
Especially when it is a 2:1 ratio, so is effectively only 80 lbs.

I've lurked around the site for a very long time and this is usually the case for most of these large exercise sets.

Most low ones seem to complain about where the driver left the box. A couple did say pieces were missing, and a couple more said the cables can jump the outlets, which are more concerning to me.

Average rating on Amazon, Target, and Walmart were a fair bit higher, but all at the regular $900 msrp

"Equipped with a 160 lb. weight stack"

Seems like good price but this will quickly be the limiting part for some exercises unless there is an option to add more weight in the future.

I purchased this at the beginning of the year and am very happy with it. I was concerned about the weight stack only being 160 lbs (80 with the pulleys) but can't imagine that being a problem with the workouts I've been doing from the app. Maybe someone more well versed in the gym would be able to max out the stack, but for $400 I think this is great.

Indeed, I agree with you. This is like paying for full retail price on a set of PowerBlocks plus it's functional.

Same price online and free delivery. Also qualifies for Costco Direct savings. Add a cheap Hisense TV to watch while working out get $100 off total price. But the cable issues are concerning and support so on the fence and probably pass.

I bought this for the same price a while ago. I have no complaints other than the 160lb weight stack isn't enough. I initially bought it for my wife, but I started using it for accessory movements, alongside normal barbell stuff. Quality seems fine. Its not commercial gym quality, but definitely sufficient for a garage gym. I don't really think you could do better for $400 without finding some insane deal on Facebook marketplace.

This vs a used Tonal on Facebook Marketplace?

No subscription needed for this but not as sleek looking.

Interesting background on this company:

How much did Chris Hemsworth sell Centr for?

A popular fitness app launched by Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth has sacked a chunk of its Melbourne workforce just a year after the company was sold in a deal worth $267 million.

Tempting as a standalone cable machine and bench, but only if you have the space for this plus a power cage. I can't imagine using this as a sole workout device. Cables alone are awkward for major movements. Great for supplementary work or rehab.

Also concerning is the sheer number of moving parts here. It's the Rube Goldberg Device of gyms.

Haven't tried this one but the next model up is great and I've been happy with it. I'd worry how wobbly the arms on this are; unless it's super bulky even some of the lower-end commercial stuff can be less than confidence inspiring.
