This is completely nonsense. These are regulated by the government and guaranteed. iPhone users are more than 50% of the Type 1 Diabetic population these are designed for. Also, $7 each is a laughably low price. If you bought them for $7, you didn't buy a Dexcom G7 my friend. Also, why aren't you reselling them? They are going for ~90$ per sensor on the internet. That's like buying a can of Coke for a few pennies, a laughably low price. I think this is either a bot or a spammer.

I wouldn't say lesser, just different. They don't do the dr sharing or insulin pumps. It's not for diabetics. It's like saying a regular sock is a lesser version of a diabetic compression sock. I mean, I guess it is as it does less

As a type 1 diabetic I have no idea. I read the article someone linked you in response and basically it almost seems like something to guilt you to eat healthier. Maybe I am just really confused though because I know if my life didn't rely on these I sure as hell wouldn't be using them.

I know some people are obsessed with metrics (basically having a machine tell them what to do) and chasing the ideal number someone told them was the perfect (blah blah blah) to be at to "increase performance."

Spot on. I've used Dexcom g6 and g7 for years and paid $130/mo with awesome insurance for both. Furthermore, the g6 was good, the g7 was great, and with the new direct to Apple watch, the g7 is truly amazing. I've been T1D for 38 years and this has been the biggest game changer in my lifetime for me.

Stelo sends the data to the app every 15 min, but records the level every 5. That data is available either on Health app or on Clarity app by Dexcom - you can use it with the same login/pass as Stelo.

G7 customer service is getting awful, I am an insulin dependent type 1 Diabetic with a pump and they will only replace 3 a year. With that being said they have many more issues than the G6 and customer service has gone way down hill.

Curiosity mainly. My last blood test was 2 years ago, got a 101 fasting glucose but 5% Hba1c, this seems like less of a hassle than doing another blood work.

So both these claim that you can't use insulin. So is there an issue if I am on insulin? Does it affect the reading or something?

It doesn't affect anything. It just not compatible with insulin pumps. Stelo updates cgm readings every 15 min vs every 5 min on g6-g7. Also Stelo doesn't give low bg alerts, only for spikes.
