Still overheats. It is fine if you are moving (bike, outside of motorcycle or car, etc) or have good airflow (windy day, ac vent inside car, etc). You can use a lower resolution setting 4k30 runs fine in most use cases up to an hour. Other brands have the similar issue so it is a packaging and processing heat issue with the small form factor. The Hero 13 has a heat sink on the front now but it doesn't seem (early days) to help that much.

Likely none left on Oahu. Called and asked for an inventory check. 1 GoPro left at the Kapolei store but likely not available. 1 insta360 left at Iwilei store also not available. Marking my calendar for next years Gopro 12 sale. 🤣
