Have you checked your local Costco inventory for GoPro and Insta 360 using the app? What's your zip code?
In the lower right click warehouse
Change the CostCo location at the top right
In the search box enter the CostCo item number which is 6094011
If it shows IN STOCK it may not be 100% accurate, call or visit the store to confirm availability.

I used it snorkeling in Maldives and compared our 8 to the dive instructors 12, the difference is not that big, so don't feel you need the latest model.

Edit: just tried this so we'll see if it works or not.
From what i've read online it doesnt seem very hopeful that this method will work out even if the price check in store shows up less. Apparently costco.com and the warehouse are different business entities and they hardly ever cross price adjust but we'll see
