It is not suitable for exterior use as the sun's UV rays will damage the finish. Minwax does have outdoor exterior poly but not at this price

Depends on your sun exposure, but probably wont last. You should use one thats specifically designed for outdoor use such as "spar" polyurethane.

Amazon now OOS in the semi-gloss, though it's still available on sale at Walmart.

I have bathroom cabinet near the faucet and the clear coat don't last long because of the water splash. Can someone recommend the right coating will last?

Anyone know if this would work as a clearcoat over latex paint on a handrail? We just painted the rail in our foyer (small one) with SW Emerald (satin, IIRC), and while it'll probably fine, I thought maybe I could put a top coat on, at least the parts where we'll run our hands over countless times each week.

I'd only need a tiny amount, so the quart would be perfect. For $9, that's good to me. Just not sure it would work, or if there's another one out there. Did a search and found mixed results. Thanks to anyone who can provide some insight.
