Thanks OP! Ended up buying through e-bikes. No tax and a firm gave 5% interest over 18 months which is pretty rad. Kept looking at the entry level model but in the end went with the 07 special edition. Just seemed like it was worth the extra money

Could you elaborate on where this is?

Damn you SD! And you OP. Woke up this morning to enjoy a cup a Joe, and left with the Moro 7 special edition. Merry Christmas son! Thumbs up!

Did you have it shipped? Shipping costed $99 to NJ. And probably have to assembled/adjusted yourself.

Other ebikes have both options for pedal assist and push power, the push power can go around 18 to 20mph. I would get this bike if it can do that. Then the off roading is a bonus for weekend fun.
Google "class 2 electric bike"

There are 3 classes; I believe what you're looking for is Class 2. This eMTB is not Class 2.

I'm not in the market for this (yet), but the Moro 07 has an impressive component spec: Shimano XT drivetrain, Magura brakes, RS Lyrik fork and Super Deluxe shock, etc. That stuff alone is not cheap, and there's nothing there I'd even consider upgrading.

I'm a bit puzzled by the 27.5+ wheel (instead of a 29er), but maybe this is still the norm with e-MTBs?

Looking to pull the trigger on the Crosscore RC. Does the Yamaha site offer the extra battery on this model as well?

How hard is it to put a bike together? I ordered from Chain Reaction Cycles a few years ago and they shipped from England. They had the bike mostly preassembled. I just had to slap on the tire, pedals, seat post.

I'm not sure with these bikes, but I worked at a shop many years ago and still have a tool set, so I'm not very concerned. Worst comes to worst I'm sure a local shop can get it built for a few bucks.
