Dark Blue Games Ltd. is a two person indie game dev team based in Hungary, European Union. The team comprised of Lajos Nádasi programmer/designer and Zoltán Ruzsányi graphics artist/designer. We've been working full-time in the game industry since 2001. In the early years we worked on mostly real-time strategy games like the Codename Panzers series. We've been indie developers since 2008. Our first indie game was a gardening game for PC/Mac/iPad, released in 2010. Our 2nd and 3rd indie games were adventure games for PC/Mac/iPad/iPhone, released in 2012 and 2014. Infected Shelter is our 4th indie game. We have been working on it since the beginning of 2015.

One concern is this is abandonware or sold off or something. Or the point being it is otherwise no longer maintained on Steam by the creators and it is being given away for immediate or future malicious or malware purposes.

I can't find any trace of Dark Blue Games, and I can't find anyway to be sure the software hasn't been tampered with since its last update by the creators in 2019

Very good reviews and only a 600 MB footprint. In for one.

Because it's clutter if you have no intent of ever playing it.

Yes, there isn't any information on that website that suggests Dark Blue Games survived 2019. I can find no link to an active web presence.

Yes exactly! Several months ago I got tired of sorting through all of the half-baked free games every time I signed into my Steam or GOG libraries that I added only because they were free. I know there is probably a way to "hide" games in both libraries but that is a lot more work. There are definitely some great (if older) free games but I am now being more selective about adding "free" games especially on Steam where the motives for the game being free are sometimes suspect.

I've been getting that way lately too, where I find myself wading through a bunch of freebies I got back in the day from GoG to find the one I paid for. Not complaining about anything free because I remember the days of getting the PlayStation magazine because there was a disk with demos on it that I played for hours as that was the closest to free games we ever got.

I've started making a group "Freebies" in each of my launchers to help distinguish what I actively sought out vs just got because it was free. Still doesn't help when you have it just display all, though.

Points for some guy in a wheelchair being pushed around doing the killing. Looks like a ulta low budget streets of rage from the Sega Genesis days.

Damn youngins don't know how good they have it. I remember when you'd get maybe a dozen new games per year they cost like $60/ea, and you could beat them in 2-3 hours. Now there's such a glut of games, if I spent every minute of the rest of my life playing through my backlog -- assuming I didn't need to sleep, eat, any of that stuff -- I still probably wouldn't be able to clear it all.
