Just finished the TV series Firefly. Enjoyed it a lot, but there was definitely a ton left unanswered and it being cut short really stopped it from becoming great. Now to watch Serenity. I saw it in theaters back five or so years ago when it came out, but I knew nothing of Firefly and don't remember anything other than having enjoyed it, so I'm looking forward to watching it now that I know what the story is and who the characters are.

I missed the deadline to register for summer classes. There's just nothing interesting to take that is online (I'm not staying up here over the summer, cannot afford it).

I found 3 classes, one of which I can't take just in case I do switch my major
-Humanities (Pre History to Late Antiquity)
-Intro to Mass Media
-Dynamic Earth (or something like that).
Total would by nearly $1200 just for 2 classes, for just tuition. I'd also have to pay a $100 fee for registering late (it closed last night but opens again May 10 I think), and buy textbooks.

I'm thinking of taking the first two classes as electives. It would require upping my student loan for this year though (I'd take out about $2000 likely). As of right now, even though I pretty much bombed Calc 1, my GPA would be exactly a 3.00. If I drop below that threshold I lose out on $4000 a year in scholarships. Frown

From what I have heard, Firefly and Serenity are cool. Well, at least everyone I've ever heard talk about that show says that.

It's much cooler when you watch it in order too. Serenity really did the show justice. I'm really disappointed it wasn't brought back.

I just finished watching the first season of Party Down. I highly recommend it.
