The watch and pixel 8 pro are separate orders, and ship in different days. The phone is arriving early. I will try to cancel/return the watch order once I receive the phone.

Price for pixel 8 pro on the invoice $408.12 and the watch $215.84

I just initiated the return today morning and it shows the refund amount of $235 to my payment account as I received phone and watch in separate orders. I hope it all goes well once I return and got the refund. Will update on it more

Just FYI on the pixel watch 1.

I've had it since around release. I am wearing it now. Don't believe all the negativity. I've had no issues with this watch at all. The battery also easily lasts me through the whole day. The charging is also super quick.

Agreed. on Swappa these go for around 4-500 still. For a brand new one $430 is a good price. I was going to buy a used one from some guy off FB for $375 in decent condition.

If we can't return the watch then the deal is shite tho.

Why is this a good deal? Mainly for contract less pre paid?

430 dollars over 24 months on subsidized plan would be about 18 dollars a month. Can get single user unlimited plans with a free phone over the same period at like 65 bucks (e.g. att) and even cheaper for multiple lines and other discounts. That makes the mobile plan roughly 45 dollars per month, Not to mention you get perks like free streaming apps and such. And you'd get the latest phones to boot (eg pixel 9 pro)

Just curious where my math is not mathing?

FYI I think they may be trying to clear out old stock that's been on the shelf for a long time. The phone arrived with a dead battery, which is a red flag, and bad for the long term battery health. I wouldn't consider this new condition. Maybe worth the gamble around ~$400 in this condition, but if the watch refund doesn't come through quickly, the phone will go back too.

who wants to deal with contract phones? I get much cheaper unlimited plans via mint or whatever for 10-20 dollars a month and can switch as I want. I also use google voice so my main number never changes. Check the math

Lol, I had to read this twice to make sure I got you right. The phone is old stock obviously and that's why they are clearing it out. It was probably manufactured more than 6 months ago and because the battery is dead you are assuming its not in new condition? and the battery died so obviously the phone is ruined .
