Reviews of this drive says it is very unreliable. They are prone to failures.

Thanks! I think they were on sale at this price. Seems to me that Costco is placing it at clearance price for their sale price first.

These have been on clearance for the last year or more every since a bunch of reports came out about them failing at a very high rate. SanDisk came out with a firmware update to "fix" it but there were still lots of reports of failures even with the update. I picked up a 2gb over a year ago for $99. I don't use it often, and always make sure I have a backup of whatever data is on it in case of failure. I use very seldomly. I'm not sure if they ever truly fixed the problem or not. It is a very fast disk fwiw.

Item 1733090 check inventory using Costco app (warehouse in lower right, confirm your location and search for 1733090).

Costco B&M price is the same $69.97, see link below taken in Clackamas, Oregon. Due to the less than stellar reviews, I'm going to steer clear of this.

All 3??!?!?!?!!?! I've had 10+ of these and none have died or had ANY issues.
