Wife recently received an email for a 3-mo YouTube Premium free trial, it seems this is valid for Samsung Galaxy users as this was also available for me when checking inside app. We both own a Galaxy S24 ultra, unsure if other devices qualify. I did not see this posted recently, hope this is useful for some!

Or pay like $1.50 a month using vpn and a india address. Already 2+ years on monthly autopay.
Do you have an instructions guide? Google pay method doesn't allow the purchase as the card must match the country and you can't change it at checkout.

This is the way! I started in Romania for a bit over a year until they required a local credit card for payment so moved to Indonesia for another year or so and recently got an email from Google stating they would switch me back to USD because I'm not using the service there primarily. I was able to switch to Israel at least still. It's more, but still roughly half off! $3/mo YouTube Premium Family Plan was nice while it lasted, but any savings is slick I suppose!
You changed to various countries via the vpn using same youtube account? Have you heard using this method getting banned by google?

Yup, Revanced variants on Android mobile and SmartTube on android / google based TVs. This and other reasons why on on Android and not apple ecosystem.

No I've never heard of that happening to anyone and I've been doing it three years now (And when I read up online how to do it, there were people doing this much longer apparently).

I started paying for YouTube Premium as an in-app subscription on my iPhone (like an idiot lol) not realizing that the price was inflated to cover Apple's 30% cut of all apps/in-app purchases... So at the very least, if you're using an iPhone and too afraid to try this trick, subscribe via YouTube's website directly and not the iOS app haha.

I say that all as a PSA for iPhone users who also may not realize this, and also because I feel that I've finally now broken even on my ignorance gouging with the VPN trick at this point lol.

Maybe Google stopped doing this. But as of a couple years ago, people were getting their Gmail accounts banned/deleted for doing the VPN trick in foreign countries. So if you're going to try it, maybe use a Google account that you could afford to lose entirely just in case.

I've been getting a ton of people asking how to get an Indian VPN for free so here it is.

Look up "Urban VPN Proxy" plugin on Google. Download the plugin to your Chrome, click on the app, and select the Indian location. It's completely free.

I've used this same exact VPN to buy India promo on a few different sites.

Being on the front page doesn't somehow validate it or make it NOT theft. That is hilarious that you think so.
You have no problem knowingly supporting a site that supports 'stealing' and 'theft' then which of course doesn't make any sense at all for your supposed moral high ground stance.

How are you blocking the ads on TV? I tried few, and it works for a day and then again the same. So, stopped trying now. Please let me know what works better for you.
Use an android tv box and configure DNS with adguard DNS, or private DNS. You can find a bunch of how to's floating around

They started cracking down on this. They figured out I wasn't in Ukraine and took away my sub $2/mo plan.
