So far we love it, we don't have any problems with uneven cooling vs. our last one, stuff lasts a while being at the exact temp I set it. I love the wifi for the door open notification (damn kids). Given we were coming from a SxS with what looked like a much larger freezer I didn't think I would like this bottom drawer freezer, but it fits A LOT more than you would think, along with the two kinds of ice which is cool. The fridge part is huge, still adjusting to both sides being fridge after 30 years of SxSs! It is great that you can open either side of the fridge first with no problems, vs some I looked at that you HAD to open the right side first, then the left, and you had to close the left side first, or risk damaging the door(s).
I did quite a bit of research and read the horror stories with Samsung fridges, but my research seemed to indicate that recent bespoke models had the design defects addressed and people were happy with them, but I bought longer warranty just in case. I didn't really find any fridges that had the size and features that I wanted that weren't crazy expensive, that would fit a standard fridge cutout, etc. All standard consumer lines seem to have reliability issues nowadays, or it could just be online reviews makes the subset with issues more visible for brands that sell high volumes... dunno.
One thing... the stainless steel SUCKS... it gets smudgy SO FAST and it is a PITA to clean. It also scratches easily. I USED to have a bottle opener, temp/humidity sensor, and a few memes magnetically attached to the front this fridge as well as of my previous fridges, but I didn't notice until it was too late that they were scratching the crap out of the front of this one
TL;DR we bought a Samsung fridge 7 months ago, and don't regret it.
We were going to get this fridge at Home Depot when remodeling our kitchen, and the guy helping us did not want us to even look at it because he's gotten so many customer complaints about it.
If you are going to get this fridge, use an extended warranty credit card or purchase an extended warranty because you will most likely need it.

Got something similar 3 or 4 years ago in my old house. Within a year the ice maker stopped working. Reset it a bunch of times then disassembled it to find the motor that flips the ice out didn't have the torque to work. Fine whatever, inconveniently refilled it from the garage fridge.
A year later the circulation fan went out after it frozen up. Replaced it. Still randomly froze up every month or two at the same spot. Eventually the wife decided to help and move all the stuff to the garage fridge and defrost it... but the ice reached the filter at the bottom and split the housing. While the wife was at the gym, water flooded half of the house from the cracked filter and ruined a bunch of laminate flooring.
Samsung couldn't pay me $1500 to run their dumpster fire appliances after my last house. Somehow the new LG in my current house is rounding off 2 years without having to think about it...
