I've bought this exact set directly from The Heatonist located in NY on their website about 9-10 times now, and I paid between $32-$40 each time for this set because I think it is great tasting hot sauce that is worth that price. I also buy a separate bottle of the Los Calientes Verde hot sauce ($10-$12) because I use about twice as much of Los Calientes as I do the Classic or The Last Dab. I also mix a little of The Last Dab into Los Calientes to make it more spicy. Los Calientes spiciness is around 30,000 Scoville units and I prefer more like 100,000 Scoville units which is why I mix about 1/4 a teaspoon of The Last Dab into the Los Calientes bottle to achieve around that level of spiciness. The Heatonist is an awesome store that carries hundreds, maybe thousands, of different great hot sauces and they have a very detailed descriptions of every hot sauce and very accurate flavor/heat profile rating systems so you can easily search for exactly the type you are looking for with a precise heat level, such as a smokey and tangy hot sauce that is medium spicy for a particular meat that you like, or a mild hot sauce with tangy fresh herbaceous flavor for tacos, or an extremely hot sauce like The Last Dab to give to your friend who hates spicy food to make him throw up lol! I highly recommend trying this pack at the normal price of $40, so at only $14 I just bough 6 packs because I've never seen it that cheap before so I'm stocking up to put them in the freezer since they last for a year or more being frozen with no degredeation of flavor. Just be sure to use a little from each bottle so there is a little air space inside the top of each bottle so it doesn't explode when the liquid expands a bit as it freezes.
Hot Ones are quality sauces but honestly prefer Franks on wings. However these sauces are great on so many other things that makes this a great price point.

Not a bad set. They actually have good taste. Last year, Sam's Club had a bag of wings with trial packs for each of these sauces. Cost was the same price, too.

Anyone know what season this box is based off of? I think that's how they do these sets, no?
This assortment is not from any particular season. It is just a 3 pack of their regular popular hot sauces (mild, medium, super hot) which have been used in the majority of their seasons until recently when they swapped the Classic and Los Calientes out for other random ones in the last couple seasons. They didn't do this because they are bad, they just wanted to keep it fresh by using more different hot sauces each season rather than using these same 3 every time. I love all 3 of these and they are usually $40 at The Heatonist store's website, so at $14 I highly recommend you buy at least 1 pack to give them a try.
