This set is perfect to build, and then have every other guitar player tell you they could've done it better…

True story, I got this as a gift a year ago and it's still sitting (boxed) right next to my Squire Stratocaster that cost about the same amount Smilie

Mainly because having 3 cats means you can't do bigger Lego projects. One sitting, that's all you get. Jigsaw puzzles? Haha.

For jigsaw puzzles I recommend using foam posterboard to cover the puzzle and sorting trays to store the pieces... after the cat played with my puzzle and lost a piece I had to develop a cat-proofing strategy. She hasn't tried to get under the posterboard yet. I don't even try to do 3D puzzles or legos though, the cat won't let me have those hobbies.

I have this set (and a Fender Strat). Got it as a gift and really enjoyed putting it together. Loved that you could do either Red or Black with it. Would have loved if they offered a maple fretboard too. But still very please.

I spent Sunday trying to change the gauge of strings on a Floyd Rose and let me assure you the Lego's were a lot more relaxing. No intonation issues.

I have this sitting on my office shelf. It's pretty fun to build and looks great. I've had it since last Christmas and is always a great conversation starter. The little foot pedal that comes with the amp is icing on the cake. The amp even has tubes!

I'd be all over this if they had the hardtail version, but the trem is too hard to keep in tune.

I have this set and keep it on top of my record shelf. It matches my real Strat.

I think this is for "when you want the tolerances and quality to be just a little less". Wink
