Make a new samsung account that you have never ordered anything from. This will be tied to a new email address.
From my old account I sent a referral to the new account I created. Under the new email address I got an email with referral code.
On my phone I logged into the samsung app with the new samsung email, etc.
Somewhere at the top of the screen after the phone was added to cart was a kinda banner mentioning edu. I clicked on that and chose edu. Never asked for any credentials.
I did the ordering on my phone under the new samsung account I created and that gave me the extra $50.
I did enter the ref in it's entirety.

Can someone please let me know
1. Create new Samsung account and download Samsung Shop app
2. Add S24+ 512gb to cart, make sure to select no trade in for the $200 discount and also select 'Educator' discount program up top of the banner (you dont need .edu email address as Samsung will not verify)
3.Total in cart in Samsung Shop app should be like 683.99 with 50 off first time using Shop app
4. Assuming you have an existing Samsung account, go to your account and get the referral code from it
5. Add referral code to cart of the new account, which will bring the price down to 633.99
6. Cannot seem to use browser to place the order so I can use certain rebate site for 10% off, given the 50 off coupon for first time using Shop app will fall off
