Can get the price down to $799 on the app. When I input a referral code, I get the message:

You have to make sure that you are not automatically logged in to the Samsung app on your smartphone. If you aren't, then you'll be prompted to create a new account OR you can use an existing Samsung account that you have NOT purchased any Samsung products from Samsung with. Once you do, you can log into your older Samsung account on your PC and get a referral code to apply on the Samsung app at checkout.
I wonder if waiting for November holiday sales is a better call
I was in the same boat as you. I decided to pull the trigger and buy a S24+ with 512GB for only $634 today because:
Samsung is only offering this great deal for the S24+ because it wants to move inventory. It's no secret that the S24 base and S24 Ultra are much better sellers than the S24+ (based on Samsung's own sales figures). Once it hits its sales quotas, the great deals will be gone.
No trade-in is involved. That means I get to keep and still use my Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
At the moment, the S24+ with 512GB is actually just a FEW DOLLARS more expensive than a S24 base model with 256GB.
I strongly believe Samsung will pull this generous offer once it sells its quota of S24+ models. When it does, Samsung will no longer need to offer a more generous deal than this come Black Friday (November 2024).

Incorrect. I just bought a S24+ with 512GB storage for $634. If anything, the S24+ with 512GB is actually a FEW DOLLARS more expensive than a S24 base with 256GB. At the moment, the S24+ with 512GB is the best bang-for-buck-priced model from Samsung. And it's no wonder given how much Samsung wants to reduce it's inventory of this model (the S24 and S24 Ultra have sold more units to date).

As much as I wanted to get my usual black, it was worth getting a phone in sapphire blue for an almost 50% discount on a premiere flagship phone like the S24+ with 512GB. That and I always put a black case on my phone anyway (although I'm tempted to get a clear case this time around to show off the blue frame).
What's you guys shipping date? I might cancel and reorder because my shipping date is 10 days away.
I ordered the S24+ on 9/1 and Samsung gave me an "estimated" delivery date of 9/13. The phone was delivered on Friday 9/6. Mine came from the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

But I ordered one of the blue colored ones. Maybe I overlooked something but I could have sworn only the "exclusive online only" colors were available at that time. I would cancel and reorder but I won't worry about it.
For those of you having a problem getting the $50 off for first time users of the Samsung App on your phone, try these steps:
1. Create a brand new account using an email that has never been registered for Samsung before.
2. Sign out of the Shop Samsung app on your phone.
3. CLOSE the app. Literally. Make sure its completely closed before starting it back up.
4. Sign into the app using your new credentials.
5. The discount should automatically add after the item is in your cart and you are on the checkout screen.
If this does NOT work. Uninstall the app, re-install the app, and log in using the new account only. It should now work. Also, don't forget to copy the old referral code from your previous account to use as the referral code for the new account for the extra $50 off.

I ordered a sapphire blue one today as well but towards the end of the work day (5pm ET). By that time, ALL the colors were available and many had a 9/27 ship date (but only the online exclusive colors had an additional $120 discount).
Perhaps the S24+ have been flying off the shelves (and for good reason). If they are, I suspect this great deal won't be around for much longer, let alone Black Friday this year.
having same problem of referral code not working. created 2 brand new accounts. got the code from secondary account and used it for main account. code invalid. any ideas on the issue?

So for anyone thinking about returning their s24+ to get this. I was just on chat with Samsung and they offered me $31 to keep the s24+. I passed on the offer. If you aren't really intrested in the Ultra and just want $31 back, here's your chance. :-)
